Default balancing park models

hi ,i have a e-flite L-4 grasshopper it said to balance at 40 mm or 50 mm ,at 50mm she balances right out with all the radio gear in ,i thought the more you move back the more it gets tail heavy at 40 mm she really tail heavy ,the main sprar is at 50 mm from what i can see should i start there? thanks

Mine balances right on the spar with the battery all the way forward in the nose. Flies like a cub should.
