Hi Jerry, 5 hours... that has to be a record, I have built and covered a SkyBug in a weekend but I tend to use aliphatic glue which needs some drying time... still could not beat 5 hours though I reckon. What power setup are you using?

Hi Graham, First I sprayed the wing with Krylon purple latex and trimed it with yellow solarfilm. I used a 3/8" carbon fiber tail boom,2 1/2" foam wheels,Cirrus MRX-4 receiver,Jeti 10 controller,Hitec HS-55 servos,Speed 400 6volt with mini olympus 2.3 to 1 gearbox,9.6 volt 1100 mah battery and 9/6 prop. All up weight 22 oz. I'll send you some photos when I finish taking up the roll. A great airplane. Jerry

Hi Jerry...
So presumably Krylon propellent does not melt the foam, excellent! I want to experiment with colouring the wing and thought that craft acrylic thinned a little and applied with a small foam roller could work well.
I have known a SkyBug fly at 28oz so you are well within. I am looking forward to seeing your photos. More snow here today, must put the skis on my SkyBug!
