Default Prop Sizes

I have noticed that there are several prop sizes. LIke 9 X 7 and 10 X 8. Can any one tell me what the mean and which one work on some GWS warbirds?

Default RE: Prop Sizes

the first number = the diameter (length ) of the propeller.

the second number = the pitch ( like the pitch of a golf club ) . The higher number, the bigger the "bite" . A 7 pitch will theoretically pull the prop through the air 7 inches for each revolution.
