Does this count? [link=http://rcgroups.com/links/index.php?sid=498277416&t=article&cat=198&id=4067]Alfa P-51 Review[/link]
I am also reviewing the Alfa Models F4U Corsair. Hobby Lobby also just released the scale Russian [link=http://www.hobby-lobby.com/la-7.htm]Lavochkin LA-7[/link].
If you prefer to fly warbirds rather than build them, Alfa Models are for you.

RE: Alpha P51 and P47
I have both the P-47 and the F4U. Absolute best of the breed of molded foam electric arfs.
Incredible detail and excellent fliers. They are perfect platforms for Li-poly batteries.
My P-47 is equipped with the recommended stock motor system and flies great on a 2 cell Li-poly 1200 mah pack. The Corsair is equipped with the brushless motor and controller that Hobby-Lobby recommends, and with a 3 cell 1200 Li-poly, UNREAL performance.
I'm sure the P-51 would be equally impressive. These kits are a few more bucks, but they are ready for you to put radio gear in and fly--hinging is done, wing attachment system is done, canopy is painted and glued in place--they are truly ARF.
The GWS types are a better choice for indoor flying, as the Alpha models are too fast for comfortable indoor flight IMO(if that's a concern for you).
Glad to answer any other questions.

RE: Alpha P51 and P47
Thanks guys.
Trouble is, I just can't make up my mind which one to get! And now they add the LA7 which makes the choice ever so much harder.
Oh decisions, decisions!
Also, any of you had anything to do with their FW TA183 EDF?
