I think you saw for yourself why soem planes don't have landing gear [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

IMO, a plane like the Terry wouldn't lend itself to landing gear ( I also love to have gear on a plane, but wouldn't think of adding gear to my Skimmer), but, if done lightly, I don't see it beeing an issue. There are quite a few other hand launch speed400 planes that have had gear added with success. Just keep as much weight off as possible.

I'm with about the landing gear, especially prop-first belly landers like Sky Scooters and T-52s. They make my Common Sense Warning Light go crazy.
