gws zero question

Default gws zero question

Ijust got a zero and these are the electronics i plan to use. 3 gws mini servos ics100 speed contrller and a gws gwr 4-n reciever and a gws 7.2 volt 600mah batt. do you guys think this will be okay? also can i just set it up for 3 ch? throttle rudder
elevaTOR? any help would be appreciated

The Zero fly's well on 3 or 4 channels. I fly mine on 3. If you ditch the rudder, ground handling will be tougher, but light weight is always a good thing in a small model. If you can swing it, I would suggest a larger battery, say 950 mah and 8.4 volts. (Balance the C.G. at the bamboo spar!)"If you don't bad things will happen" Otherwise build as light as you can afford to.

if you just want to use 3 channels - use Ailerons, Elevator and Throttle. NOT R,E,T.

Up the battery Voltage. At least 8.4. I use 9.6 volts 650mah 2/3AA batts with a 9x7 slow fly prop. Retimed the stock motor. Very Nice Setup.

Stock motor has lasted for a very long time.
