I just got a Nippy Black 0808/98.
Now my little pokes wing needs some new ribs and it is out of flying condition untill i get around to order ribs and fix it. I was looking around and saw the Mini Gee Bee RTF from Hobby Lobby. It looks neat and uses the brushless motor i got. Just wondering if any personal experience and if I should get it. It looks hard to beat for $34.00. Please give input.

My mini GB is loads of fun. It comes with a motor mount specially designed for the nippy black. I personally use the Axi 2208/34. It hovers at less than half throttle. If I have any advice, I'd recommend going light with the epoxy and TRACE THE PARTS ONTO POSTERBOARD. When/if you crash it, simply go to www.depronusa.com or http://www.nyblimp.com/main.htm for more depron/zepron so you can make as many as you want. This model isn't hard to fly, its just VERY responsive. When launching, have give about 40% throttle and about 75% "right" control stick. It is best to hold the model in your left hand so you can keep you hand on the steering radio stick.
