I just finished the electric rascal and went for its maiden flight today. Hand launching with no wind, full power...she did not want to fly, sank right down to the ground. Thought it was pilot error and tried several more times with no success. I checked and triple checked the CG and all is well. To me, it does not seem like it's making enough power so I install another battery...still no luck. I am using the recommended battery parameters. Does any one have any ideas. I really appreciate it. Thanks!!! ( Yes, the batteries were charged)

If it's the Lil Rascal 180 size, you have to change to a 7X5 APC E-prop, Mine on the stock motor and a 1200 2 cell lipo flies nicely. It does'nt light the world on fire but cruises fine and will loop ,for about 15 min. It's a very cool little plane and handles wind well for it's size. I want to drop on an Astro BL 010 and on 3 cells it'll really move. Try the 7X5.

Freebird, thanks alot. I was getting worried because no one was responding to my question. Did you have the same problem at first with yours? I will eventually upgrade to lipo's, but i'll see what she has now; it doesn't hurt to see the before and after. Also, did you happen to notify SIG at all about the problem?
Thanks again
Thanks again
