1/12 scale pilot figures
Hello!
I would like to invite you all to visit the new JustPilots web site at http://www.justpilots.ca
It has taken a while but we finally have the site up and running although there will be ongoing work and upgrades for a few more weeks yet. In the meantime, we have a few WW2 1/12 scale pilot figures which really complete a GWS or combat warbird.
Any comments or ideas welcome.
Regards,
John

Very very nice...
By chance, are you going to offer pre painted ones for slightly more?

RE: 1/12 scale pilot figures
Good morning Geof,
At this stage I have my hands full developing the lines. I have two WW1 pilot figures on the go (1:8.5 scale) and the first 1:7 scale full body USAAF figure about to start. Painting is a bit of a time consuming process although I find it is lack of knowledge rather than time or skill which put people off painting figures. I am developing a section on the site which should assist in painting the figures to an acceptable standard with little effort.
So, at the moment no plans for pre-painted figures. Sorry.
On a side note, nice to hear from someone in my neck of the woods!
Cheers,
John

RE: 1/12 scale pilot figures
Lack of knowledge and fumbling, shaking hands for delicate work is my problem
They really look GREAT...You going to be in Chilliwack for the fly in at the end of August?

Cheers on those pilots! They look awesome!! I will definitely shop at your place for a pilot later on down the road.... These guys would also make good hood ornaments...and I mean that in the best possible way, not like they got run over or anything b/c the craftsmanship and detail is amazing.
