How many notches from the front are you guys using on the SV ?? And did ya notice very much of a difference in playing around with the wing placement...??

Don't have a SV, but just a reminder to watch that CG.

I almost crashed due to a rearward CG--important lesson learned. Someone here wisely said something like:

"A plane with the CG too far forward flys poorly, but a plane with its CG too far back flys once."

I liked mine with it a couple notches from the very back or at the very back. I am also using the 7 cell pack. If there is no wind at all then you might want to move it farther forward.

you cant tell a differance i started in the middle third notch from front if little or no wind put in front notch for super slow flight. you do not have to remove the wing just reach under and with one hand on front mount and the other on the rear slowly move into position an d recheck the rubber band placement also notice a big differenance in the trim with more up trim needed with the wing more in rear position also run in the front with the slightly heavier j-3 8.4 pack

I used the one third of the wing chord CG old saying , so 4 inches from the wing leading edge is where my plane is balanced , and it flies great
