Hey, anyone own and/or flew the Great Planes Wright Flyer? I just bought one and have it assembled and was wondering if there was anything I should know before lauching it for the first time. I have it balanced and throws set to spec, anything else??

Yes - keep the cg toward the front as it tends to nose-up. Also, NO or very little wind as it blows around like a butterfly and can easily turn the opposite direction if it gets a slight gust of wind which can be scary. In good conditions it flys very well and is beautiful to watch.

The Wright Flyer comes with plane, battery,ESC and 2 motors w/props. I purchased it for $59.99 + $8.00 shipping. I see it is now back up to 74.99 at Tower Hobbies. I used the Tx,Rcr,servo out of my ParkZone J3 cub. So that was my total cost. It will probably come back down in price after the Holidays. As for the radio cost, that would depend on what you have or care to pruchase.
