Default slow stick

I just got my slow stick today, I got the 300, the prop looks a little small. do i need a larger prop to fly this plane?

Depends on the prop you got. I'm assuming you have D gearing (look for a letter on the black gear in front of the gearbox).

The prop I like best is a 11 x 8, the one that came standard in my kit. You can see the numbers near the hub of the prop on the blades. Some fly with a 11 x 4.7, but I'd never recommend that for the 300. Some like a 12 x 6. I've tried these and went back to the 11 x 8.

It's a fun plane. If it's your first, make sure your first flights are in zero wind conditions. There is a lot of wing area there to get blown around by the wind!

If the prop came with the plane, odds are it's the right prop.

Good luck

My SLow Stick 300 came with an 11x8 prop. It flew well with that. I'd recommend picking up an extra prop or two though.

If you look on the prop you should see "GWS" on one blade and a number like "EP-1180" on the other blade. Tell us what that number is. That is the only way we will know for sure what blade you have. Mine is 1180 and flys great.
