One brand I like alot is the Stevens Aeromodels! Beautiful lasercut parts, very light construction and made for electric flight[8D] http://www.stevensaero.com/cart/
Go for the Cap 232 .40E and an AXI 2820/10 and you are guaranteed a well-flying beauty combined with some very easy building, and finishing it your own way. Or go for the 480Groove and an AXI 2808/20 if you want a smaller plane.
The kits are built in "no time" using just CA, the constructions are very light and fragile until they are covered.

No motor, just the plane.
Hope you`ll like the bird, I think they are beautiful. Just remember that there are little strenght before it is covered. A .40-size is closing in for me this time

Hey I just finish building a Horsefly. It's the December 04 issue as a pull out plan that you have to maximize at kinkos.
It' has wingspan of 33.75 and a length (i belive) of 27.25. It's a biplane/slow flyer. Haven't took it out to fly yet because I'm looking for a real cheap brushed 12mm*30mm motor with drive. well i can't take photos at this time but I hope you find what u like in this horsefly and let me know your choice.
Think HORSEFLY.

Vraptor04: Here are some pictures on the Groove-building (a review on my home-forum, not written by me...) http://www.modellflynytt.no/articles.php?articleId=84
You propably won`t understand the language, but take a look at the photos. Vidar who built this one used an AXI 2808/20, same motor I run in a Formosa.
I have not built this one, but an other from Stevens, and I am going for the 232 .40 soon
