Greetings,
Seeing this video [link=http://modellvideos.de/videos/KnuffelVerstellprop-die-zwote.wmv]modellvideos.de[/link], I became intrigued by this very, very neat variable pitch prop setup. I hit google but couldn't find a relevant discussion on this topic.
Does anyone have experience on this subject? Can this be home built?
I was wondering if one could actually use the variable pitch as a throttle equivalent; maybe all it takes is some mixing between the pitch control and throttle or an RPM limiter in the ESC so when the prop is in "neutral" the motor has the spin rate limited to some reasonable limit.
Thank you,
Serban
