Your favorite park flyer
I'm just about to buy a park flyer - probably the blt or the slow stick. Just wondering what you recommend in terms of a park flyer that can be flown in a relatively small field.
Thanks

Slow Stick. if you crash it and break the tail or something you can use packing tape and be flying again. the BLT is wood so if you break the wing you have to rebuild it or get a new one. i learned on my SS and it was great!

The wing on the BLT is the toughest part of the whole ship. I've planted mine three times now, once upside down and the only thing that suffered on the wing was a puncture to the covering.
What breaks on the BLT is the nose--that's broken every time it's hit the ground with some assertion. I'm currently repairing mine and am attempting to modify the nose so that the next time it breaks, it will be simpler to repair.
The Slow Stick is a good beginner plane if you live in an area that gets moments with zero wind (for learning).

The Wisper 2, it is a wing though. Flys in a very small area and has a top speed of about 45 m.p.h. They are available here www.bmkdesigns.net and there are video's on this site www.monsoonrc.com

Dandy Sport was the best I've flown - never had a Slow Stick but it looks like a good choice.
How small a field?
I have really been impressed with the Shock Flyer type of foamy profiles. They are slow and can move in the vertical well which would come in handy in a small area.
I never flew an aerobird but we had a Firebird XL and it needed like an entire soccer field.
Good Luck!
