Default Using Full-size RX with Micro servos

How do i use a full size reciever with 3 micro servos and a speed controller? When i hook it up, the TX has no control and it emits a very bad smell. I cant figure out whats wrong. Your help is appreciated.
Thanks, Tommy

servos should still work as long as they are 4.8V and the plugs are the right ones.

on micro servo's it is possible to plug them in to a full size Rx with the wrong polarity
if you have a full size servo check out the colour coding and plug in the mini servos the same way,
if you have plugged in the Speed controller reverse polarity it may have damaged the RX
hopfully the servo's will have survived
