Has anyone ever done it? Our club has been asked to do an exhibition at a local museum and I'd like to do a candy drop with my slow stick. I'm flying with a Hi Maxx brushless motor, 3 cell LiPo's and 25A speed control. I've flown around with a small aluminum loaf pan containing a hand full of gravel and didn't have any problem. I think I can handle light payloads like the puffy kind of peppermints. The question is what would be a good payload basket and what kind of release mechanism can I rig up?
Any ideas?

I saw online from somewhere I do not recall but it was a servo activated snap on bomb bay...you could put whatever you want in it. Which was neat, but if you really want a bigger payload I would do something smaller that would dump when you invert...it would weigh less and you could carry more. BUt the bomb door was pretty cool, dont know how well it would fit on your slow stick though.

You can get a drop attachment, very light and small, only need something on your payload like a small hole for the pin in the drop mechanism to go thru. The ones i picked up were made by Fourmost Products Release, # 119 Then you have no bulky boxes or doors, maybe just a hanky or piece of plastic tied around the stuff
