Connectors
#1
I am looking for information on what others are using for battery connectors.
We use Deans Ultras for our bigger electrics.
We have used the red JST plugs for most of our smaller planes.
We recently converted all of our smaller batteries to Deans polarized plugs to better handle the 6-7amp draw that our park flyers and foamies were drawing.
This has been a perfect solution except for one aspect - my 70 year old father (1/3 of the 'we' referenced above) has great difficulty with the Deans polarized plugs. He cannot plug them in. Granted, the Deans Ultras are also difficult, but on the disconnecting side.
The JST plugs were easier to get plugged together, but they really are too low for the amp rating.
Is there a better solution? (preferably light weight and with a 10 amp capacity)
TIA
Vince
