10x4.7 versus 9x4... will it work?
The directions for the Magpie call for a 9x4 prop but the LHS only has a 10.7 x 4, will that work? Is the extra inch gonna hurt? I'm using a 350C-C to a 650Kan 9.6V and a Pixie 20 ESC.

With the KAN battery and the Pixie 20P it will turn the 10 x 4.7 easy. The bigger prop will produce more thrust and will work much better than the 9 inch.
I never used the "C" gears but [link=http://www.mountainmodels.com]Mountain Models[/link] uses them with a 10 x 8 prop on the Dandy Sport and it flys great. They have a great video of it on their website.
On my planes I use the "D" gears and drive a 12 x 6 prop using KAN - 650 batteries and a Pixie 20P. It produces 17 - 18 oz thrust at WOT.
Good Luck!

OK - Gotta back track here - forgot the Magpie is made by MM! There website states the following about the Magpie:
"The Magpie is designed around the GWS EPS350C-C motor, 9x7 propeller, and KAN650 battery. The Magpie flies very well with this low cost power package."
The 10 x 4.7 should work but I would have to try the 9 x 7 since they actually thought this out and it seems to fly well in the videos.
