Default Re-covering IFO

Need to re-cover my IFO. It already has tons of the 3M spray glue on it. How can I safely remove the glue from the CF rods without harming the CF?

Acetone will take CA off carbon rod with no problems. You should give that a try in a well ventilated area!

Scrape the carbon rods with a razor blade or very sharp knife.
Don't scrape really hard just lightly scrape the glue off of it.
I don't acetone will take the 3M 77 off. This is the way dan kreigh does it too I think.
