Default Wing Swapping

Has anybody ever tried to place an ABX wing on an ABC? I'd imagine that you would get some increase lift for longer power-off glide times, but there would be more drag, so it wouldnt go as fast. Of course, the added wing area may enhance thermaling abilities too. I'm thinking of trying it, but wouldnt want to waste the cash if somebody here doesnt think it could be made to work. I'd image that some cutting would be needed to clear the prop and fit around the canopy area. Thoughts?

Default RE: Wing Swapping

Ok... let me ask this... Has anybody ever tried to reinforce the wings by using strong fishing line as "struts" similar to the plastic "struts" on the PZ Super Decathalon? I'm guessing this would be effective for preventing folding. Thoughts?
