RE: Tiger Moth 370 by Lx Model www.giantscaleplanes.com
I talked with greatplanes.com sales rep today and learned they had discintued sales of the LX Models for two reasons. First, in order to get a reasonable shipping cost they needed to bring in an entire container load of planes at $5000.00 per container. Their sales volume was too low to warrant holding that much inventory. Secondly, they are now focusing on R/C helicopters instead of airplanes.
He did say they had no problems with the aircraft and that the quality was quite good. I have an associate who imported container loads of goods from China and believe he had an arrangement to receive 1/4 containers. Do you think there would be enough demand to support sales of 250 or so planes in a reasonable period?

Sorry by my delay in answering you, but I was out of town for a while.
In my humble opinion, these airplanes could be sold very well if you make a good advertising campaign. Giant Scale Planes almost did nothing and it sold out its stock.
