Default Need some input

Went to start my PZ Cub today, the rudder and elevator work but the motor will not run. Anyways, it is most likely a bumped motor, but if anyone else has some advice or had the same experience some input would be appreciated.

use process of elimination to determine what's wrong...

first, make sure you're using a fully charged batt...if the batt's voltage is too low it will be in lvc (low voltage cutoff) mode...it may not start the motor but will power up the servos...

second, make sure your motor lead connections to the rx/esc are secure...

third, when you plug in your batt, make sure the throttle is in the full off position...this will arm the motor...

fourth, (if the above does not solve the problem), take the motor off and test it by attaching it directly to a 'c' or 'd' single cell alkaline batt...

- if the motor does not run, check the solder joints...if the joints look good and the motor leads are solidly attached, the motor is probably done...time to get a new one...

- if the motor runs, then it's probably the rx/esc...time to call horizon hobby and see if they can help...
