Building the TM and using the Qualcom 2 cell battery with the circuit board.

Can anyone recoment mounting this battery. I could mount it horizontally by widening the battery compartment or I could mount it vertically (in line) by making the batt compartment deeper. I don't yet know how much I will have to move the batt to obtain CG.

Any Comments ??

Thanks

I work in Palo Alto so I go to Rancho San Antonio on weekdays.
On really calm days in Newark I go to Mcgreager Feild on Cedar Blvd near Newark Bvd. Free flyers and some electrics fly at the feild behind Seliman (sp) Center, Newarks new Community Center on Stevenson near Cherry. I have not ben to Baylands yet. Its in Sunnyvale at Lawerance near Central .

I was the first "E" flyer in Newark, but now I do most of my flying at Baylands, then Rancho. I know all the Freeflight guys that fly down there, and the Heli. guy that fly's there too.

Come fly with us at Baylands on the weekend.

Yours,
Antonio Genovia

I did similar, only used velcro (kept the cowl so you couldn't see it in flight, but cut it a bit to get the batteries out easy without removing the cowl.

Has anyone ever try the NiMH 8.4V/1000mAH pack from www.bydusa.com on the Tigermoth? Does it fit in the Tigermoth? The price on this battery seems right; $25 for 2 + free shipping.
