i just put a brushless motor in my formosa and i need to know if i can still use the 730mAh nimh that i used with the stock motor. if so, how long will it run? the motor is an eflite 400.

You can run the battery, you just won't get the full potential out of the motor and it will also weigh a bit more vs using a lipo. On my Typhoon, which also has a brushless motor, I run both 9-cell NIMH and 3-cell Lipo packs.

Mah is not the important thing, important is the discharge rate and continous current. 3 cell, right?

3Dsavage, I run a BP21 and 3S 1300 ma 12C batt and a 7X4 folding prop on my formosa, this set up flies good and gets 12 to 18 min flights at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle, you should get 5 to 10 min from a 750 on the 400, depending on your prop size, a 5X5.3 makes the formosa a screamer with the 400 motor
