Well, all of a sudden I've got an extra Skyfly transmitter on my hands (folded my non-reinforced wing and totalled the plane, including the receiver / servo assembly today). I'll definitely be doing the carbon fiber rod reinforcement mod on the next one. Can any 27mhz, 3 channel FM receiver be used with the transmitter using the crystals supplied with the Skyfly? Or is it destined for the garbage?
Thanks!
Thanks!

i don't know for sure, but i am looking for same answer. I asked my local shop and they said if it is AM radio, then yes, they ccould make something they have work with my transmitter.. (i called skypilot and they said it was AM). I have not been back to hobbie shop but i need to do same thing you are doing... by the way, after trashing 2 sky pilots i bought a slow stick with motor and used my batteries and radio/ servos on the stick and have been flying for 5 months now no problems... buy a stick with motor and try to reuse stuff, or buy the orange firebird. My friend has it and almost indestructable..

Hi guys,
Would this receiver work with this transmitter and if yes, will it work with the crystals supplied with the Sky Fly?

I think it will because on the front of the SkyFly transmitter it says it's a 3 channel FM.

My Feedback: (2)
Radio is 27 MHz 3 channel FM on Sky Fly.

There is no way to know if that radio will work with that receiver without trying it.
