I am looking for more information on this plane. I have called Global Hobbies and they dont seem to know much about it. I think it is a great plane for the price but I want to know if anyone has this plane or knows someone who has flown it. Also any kind of videos out there to prove that it flies good would also be a great help. Global Hobbies didnt even know the Range for the plane or speed. Any and I mean ANY information would be much appreciated.
Thank you

If you just generally know about winged RCs can someone take a look at this wing and read the review to get the specs a guess on the speed .. it uses a 370 motor with a 6 cell NIMH 7.2V 600 mah battery. Also any guesses on range given the transmitter and receiver specs on the website. I would appreciate anyones comments.

According to my calculator, the plane will fly at approx. 14.5 mph.
That's based on it's weight, wingspan, and stated wing area. That sounds about right; seems like it'd be a semi-slow flyer but manueverable as heck.
The radio shown in the photo is a Cirrus 4-channel made by Futaba; I'm guessing it's in 27 mhz, which would make the control range around 1,000 feet. That's PLENTY of range; the thing would be out of sight before then.

WOW... that speed is TERRIBLE... I called a few local Hobby shops and they were saying it would be around 35-45 mph.... I guess that they were off. Is there a brushless I can put on it or something else I can do to make it faster after I get used to the wing?

Your calculations were a little off, by about 25-30mph. This thing scoots and you were right it is very manueverable. First flight was a crash but what do you expect from a newbie. The front plastic nose peice fell off and the battery compartment came unglued. All was fixed with hot glue and ready to go again. I am not sure on the range yet but it gets at least 500' minimum. I will tell more in the next couple of days.
