Pico Tiger Moth with Brushless Power
We are offering the GWS Pico Tiger Moth (unpainted slope glider version) packaged with our MAE/Westport brushless CD-ROM outrunner motor and laser-cut mount. To further enhance performance and ruggedness, we have also included a stiffer landing gear with upgraded wheels. Last but not least, we offer an optional CF "strut stiffener" package.
Check out the package [link=http://www.m-a-e.com/Sub_Pages/Products/Kit%20Details/TigerMoth_InfoSummary_and_Videos.htm]HERE[/link]. Our motor is actually lighter than the stock IPS drive, and turns a 10x6 prop direct-drive (no gearbox). You get 3X power at just 4.2 amps, full-throttle. Performance can be slow and sedate due to the maintained light wing-loading... or you can crank up the aerobatics as shown on our [link=http://www.m-a-e.com/Sub_Pages/Products/Kit%20Details/TigerMoth_InfoSummary_and_Videos.htm]VIDEO[/link]. If you fly your 'Moth on floats, our setup gives you the extra power you need!
Flight times of 20-min or more are easily achieved with the 620-2S lipoly! Be sure to check out our [link=http://www.m-a-e.com/Sub_Pages/Pictures-Videos/PicoMothBuildPics.htm]assembly photos & tips[/link], too!
