ok, haven't flown anything in about 15 years up until two days ago. A friend bought himself a plane and a heli on a whim and of course I had to pick one up just to "play" too..
It was an impulse buy but I ended up with the Phase3 J-3 Cub 370. Plane setup great, first hand launch was a disaster that anded up with a broken prop. Fortunately they send you out with two (I was about 250 miles from the hobby store I bought it at). the second hand launch got it up and flying and about 15 minutes later I was landing it on a dirt runway. Second flight was a rolling takeoff from that same runway. Took a couple of tries, but eventually it went up in the air. That flight ended with me getting a little to comfortable with the controls and a nosedive that cracked the main wing. End of flying for that trip.Got it back home today, a little 90 second epoxy and packing tape and it's good to go again. Downside is there's too much wind.
Anyhoo, the reason for my post is I see a ton of info here on the ParkZone model and wondered what the differences were between the two as far as modifications, repairs, etc.
