Default Eflite P-38 question

Has anyone flown this plane with the dual brushed motors? How does it perform with this power setup, I.E. climb performance, aerobatics, ect. I know the brushless is better but it is also consiterable more expensive.

Default RE: Eflite P-38 question

I set mine up with the brushed set up. It flew very well. Climb rate was good. Rolls, loops, inverted flight were all well within its capabilities. It's surprisingly fast with this set up. I think you'll be happy. I watched the video with the brushless setup and it took all of three feet to take off. Very cool, but not scale. I'm not sure I'd want to put that kind of power in this plane. I can certainly see the wing flex coming out of a loop with power off. I think the brushless would be overkill. Good luck with yours.
