Default PZ Sonic Combat Mod.

I have a buddy willing to buy another PZ plane so we can dog fight w/ the sonic combat mod. But eight seconds seems like a long time to be w/o power. Is it reprogramable to cut the motor for a shorter time or "it is what it is"?

Pretty sure it is what it is - i think it only cuts power to the motor... or that is what i was lead to beleive. Am keen to try one aswell, have been trying to find someone who has tried in my PARKZONE WARBIRDS forum!

The sonic modules only kill the motor and for only 5 seconds. Hobbyzone never updated their manual to state the reduction in time. All control surface continue to work normally. I use them on the challenger, P-51, and Spitfire and the 5 seconds is just about right. It is not reprogrammable.
