I need to construct a 8 cell 1100mAh battery. Since my charger will only handle up to 7 cells, is it possible to create 2 4 cell packs,
charge them, and then plug the packs together in series to create the 8 cell pack?
It would seem a less expensive alternative that buying a premade pack and a new charger.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

e-bird,
Thanks for the reply.
What is a Dean's connector? How do they rate to JST's.
I have seen Dean's connectors mentioned, but I am not sure how they are used.

Deans is the type of connector used
any on you battery normaly a female
and you plug your controler into it.
Now you make a jumper with 2 males like
on your controler and one female like normaly on your battery then you wire
the jumper in series where you get the
max from two packs in series instead of
one pack. And charge the battery packs
as singles. This email is still [email protected] though CU
