Saw this UFO (Ugly Flying Object) at the local field and asked the man if I could copy it. What a fun thing to fly and easy to build. Anyone else flying a UFO?

Is the Nutball a kit or build it yourself. I like the landing gear. I have already went thru 3 props just on soft ground landings.
I set my UFO up with a hobby King SlowStick combo, 2410-9 with 25A BEC and use a 10x4.7 SF prop. The foam is Home Depot blue foam approx 22 in diam. with Spektrum electronics. Had all the parts from a crashed wing and spent about $10 on the foam and control wire. Like I said it is fun to fly and will do everything a 3D will do, just a lot funnier looking.

I bought it as an ARF.
I got this motor from Hobbycity.com with an 8 X 4 prop.

I'm running it on a 2s 500mah lipo
I like adjusting the COG back and forth. It's a different plane evertime I move it, but it always flies nice
Here's a vid.

Great video, I just got one of those key chain cams and will get some hat cam views and on board videos soon. Will post if they come out OK.
It's the monsoon season here in Mesa, AZ so the temp is over 100 and lots of wind, so the flyin days are not so good for now. Hope it will calm down soon.
I will try playing with the COG and hope to learn how to catch the UFO to save those props.
I also have a SlowStick, Estarter, wing, and a 3D bip that I have set up as a standard flyer. All are fun and except the wing, very easy to fly. Having so much fun with the UFO the other planes are not getting much flight time.
