Scott,
Phil's right about spending the extra $

For the best results you need both, plus the heat gun, and don't forget the iron sock.

I see the iron comes with 1 sock.

I'm a little nervous about this. We have hardwood floors. My wife would kill me.

Hah... cheaper than UH. Doesn't do enough amp current to really interest me but good value for guys with small power sticks ;)

EDIT -Hmmm.... after reading about this a bit more I'm curious about the "repair" function. Does anyone have one of these (AJ - I think I remember you using one at GGs). Does the repair only charge at a low rate or does it discharge and then recharge????

If it discharges I may actually want one of these to cycle in new batteries.

Terry,

I tried to get one of these DH's to pick a number for me, and give it to you if I won.

Mark,

You can't play anymore, now go home with your new soldering station:D

No Really, Congrats you wiener you!:D

Now, I can't wait to see the Surprise that the TEGE has to put up:D

A LARGE Bottle of ABSOLUTE would be nice:D

Mark: Congrats :)

Who had dibs on the next lotto? I know I have some stuff, but I think Lou got in ahead of me.

Lou / TEGE:

Go ahead, I will do mine after yours. Besides, I am really curious about the "rules". Just tell Elaine that it cant be gun calibers ;) Actually, that might be fun :) OK, It CAN be gun calibers :D I guess 40 (after her favorite pistol).

Last day in CT :D I am going home tomorrow.

GG:

Tell your sexitary to look at this site: http://www.dream-models.com/eco/index.html
It is a great basic heli training course, and IF her fella follows this, it will help him to fly faster and more safely (and cut down on broken parts).

Off to do some real work.... [:'(]

Double (B,B,B);

Sray: just watched the video - very cool ooking 117.

Be sure to make some templates before you start gluing foam.

I volunteer to hold a second....backup...set of them for you ( for offsite storage to provide redundancy) ;):)

I volunteer to hold TEGE's number/caliber/whatever since I just won BIG TIME! WOOHOO!! Rub it in, rub it in....:)
:)
TE, I went through the Radd's S.O.R.F. also. It does help get you going. I told Turd to give the sec's guy my email and I can give him some guidance to get going. I think he will have better luck with a fixed pitch heli to learn on, less parts to break and less adjustments to make her fly well.

Oh, Te, I liked that Padme link you sent. kind of reminds me of a fff version of the synapse (?) Bammy had at the fly-in. I saved a copy.

Mr. Manners...er...ah...Mark,
Congrats on wiening.

Ok, Elaine will do her lotto when she gets home. Those that volunteered already to hold her number should wait. This tool is really cool, especially for foam guys.

And the .40 isn't her favorite gun. She prefers .357's. She has a S&W 5" barrel .357 that can hit anything. Even Sray in a dead run.

I can only think of one or two people that won't want to bid. It is cool. Oh, wait. I sent one to GG so he should keep the secret number assuming he accepts the mission.

Thanks Terry. Elaine is pretty excited to have this lootery.

TE I plan to have a backup template of the f117. I will consider your offer as long as you trace one out and pass it around to any one else interested. The bomb drop is pretty neat and is included in the plans. ;) I will drop band aids over Brad at the fly in.

Just got back from a few flights. Flew the Vista, The Yak and the Texan. I did not need any glue today. :D

Nice find on the charger Scott. I see UH is carrying a watts-up meter for 30 something now too.

Congrats on the lotto Mark. My Eflite p-38 guess will be #34.

Thanks for sponsering the lotto Ken. Good on you.

ALL

Just got back from the field where I flew the SabArt Angel for the firs time, those that know me also know I am not one for superlanatives on aircraft abilities, but there are not enough adjectives to describe how this thing fly's, not one bleep of trim required for anything, true accurate and beutiful to fly, if any of you wish to get into aerobatics this is the one, out of all my F3A ships this is the easiest one to make you look good, loops tracking knife edge everything is dead accurate, in the instructions it recommends 6% elevator up with full rudder for knife edge, I was able to knife edge down the whole length of our field holding only rudder unbelivable.

Talk about being on cloud 9 I can't get off.

Mike;

Don't you just LOVE it when you get a plane that perfect [8D]:D Glad it worked out so well for you [sm=thumbs_up.gif]

Glad you are enjoying it - what do you have in it for power?

NEED VIDEO [sm=tongue_smile.gif] - strap a camera on the back of a sheep ;)

Can you post a link to it (again)?

What is the next bird on your list?

Take Care

Terry

I have an AXI 4130/16 on 6S 4350 LiPo's on it.

I will look for the link again for you. Found it: http://www.sebart.it its in Italian but I think there is a translation on the site.

The next thing to be finnished is the 2.1M Extra with the Pletenberg in spinner motor on 10S LiPo's at 5350 as soon as I receive the motor from Germany.

Mike, good job on the maiden and so happy for you too about the way it fly's. A sheep cam would be nice.

TE http://www.********.com/F117Stealth/F-117trans.htm

I meant to imply that you trace one or two out then pass my templates to the next party and then they do the same.

BaldEagel 01-16-2008 12:07 PM

RE: Badius Owners Club III

A sheep cam? is that some kind of American lifting device, never used one in the UK we still use Wellies or rubber gloves. :D

Mike;

Truly beautiful. You have the red/green or red/blue?

In the video, it sure looks smooth. Looks like it will hold a knife-edge forever [8D]

Any build issues? The manual looks very good :)

Terry

I have the red/blue the same as my Katana from the same stable, the assembly went together as the manual no issues at all, even the horns are fibre glass and they supply ball links to attach them with, I even used the turret connectors on the servo's, in all it took me 6hrs to complete, started in the morning finnished in the afternoon, I even could have flown it the same day if the weather had co-operated.

Still sitting on the cloud at the moment, but they don't have any GT's up here so I may have to come down shortly. :D

Hmmm, So PUTZ is a weiner, like we didn't already know that.
Yeah he was good enough to give me advice, as he was driving, cooking supper, and trying to ram some old fart off the road. Geez, put some nut case behind the wheel of an 18 wheeler and they think they own the road.

Sheep cam??????? Sounds like a Baaaaaaaaaaaaad idea to me.

wee wee what are you trying to bend the control rod for? Something like a Z bend?

And someone mentioned acetone to thin epoxy. NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! use denatured alcohol to thin it. Acetone tends to eat things, like your brain if you sniff it long enough, let alone melt just about anything else. Unless it's a Stryker, then acetone is the recommended cleaning solvent for it.

Lou I have no idea what you sent, so I guess I could hold the secret number and not bid.

AJ1202 01-16-2008 12:57 PM

RE: Badius Owners Club III

:) I already knew acetone was a no no, I like the denatured alcohol mix and I have some at the house, so I'm going with that

Mike it sounds like you have a winner there, Good for you. I'll be looking for some vid of it
From you,, not an advertisment,,, we all know those are rigged :)

Lou this sounds interesting, gonna have to keep an eye out later and see what TEGE has up her sleeve.

I'd like to see the F-117 done in about 120%, now that would be impressive :D

Mike, congrats on the maiden! That is a really nice plane. I always drool over the Sebart planes and have had the Katana on my wish list for a while.

Cool!! another looto coming soon. I can't wait.

Travel arrangements are finalized. Tickets are reserved awaiting pickup. 5 More boxes sent today to the tune of 80 smackers.

Mike,
What a crummy flight report. Not a single repair to be had. Sheesh. Ok. Sounds too good to be true. A plane that did what it was advertised to do. Yikes! and Gadzooks!!

GG,
I haven't sent it yet but you'll get a bunch of stuff along with it for Elaine's plane. Yep, it's hers along with the P-61, both A-26's and gawd knows what else she's laid claim to. I'll email the number when she confirms it. I don't want to screw it up.

Here's a clue on what you need to use to guess the number. A car is involved and most of you have zero experience with the specs.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Elaine will really enjoy messing with all of you.
