Hacker C54 2Y 7:1
Bought a new pattern ship with the C54 motor and i can’t find a vid on the greasing of the gears. Manual is calling for 50-75 flights greasing the motor, is this the timeframe folks are doing to do the grease re packing?

I’ve been using Hacker C50s and C54s since 2010. Yes, 50-75 is a good number of flights between service intervals providing the motor has adequate cooling. Use either the Hacker grease or Shell Stamina RL2 grease. I have a couple of C50s with well over 1000 runs each using the Shell grease and the above-mentioned service interval. There’s a new US Hacker dealer that can assist you. Here’s the link Hacker Motors US.
I'm attaching a document that shows servicing the gearbox for a C50. Follow these steps for the C54 gearbox as well.
