New Micro Seeker?
Any update on when the new micro Seeker (or whatever it will be called) will be available? I might suddenly be in need of 3 new RX's after some bad combat luck.

Very interesting. I have never heard of the "Sky and Technology" brand, but the receiver looks quite good.
I'll have to check out the service situation.

I also noticed that the weight wasn't listed, but the dimentions seem to indicate that the receiver is on the large side.

From the vendor's web site:
"The smallest and lightest in the World weighs 14 grams"

RE: New Micro Seeker?
Ah, you're right, I missed the weight.
But "smallest"? Nope.
FMA M5:
Size: 1.67x0.80x0.58 - that's noticeably smaller in every dimention
Weight: 0.40oz -> 11grams, lighter by a good margin as well.
Of course the M5 is only 5 channels, compared to the new Seeker's 6, and the one you mention is 8. So, let's compare another 8 channel:
FMA Quantum 8:
Size: 1.87x1.00x0.58 - again, noticeably smaller in all dimentions.
Weight: 0.50 - again, lighter.
And getting back to the subject of this thread, the new Seeker:
Size 1.5x.875x.5 - Hmm, smaller in every dimention
Weight: .5oz - lighter.
Plus, there is the open question of support for that RX. And, fwiw, I'm always HIGHLY skeptical about anyone and any product that gets pushed out of the blue in a thread that had nothing to do with it. I'm not saying it's a bad product, I just don't know anything about it, and the website is short on details. But claiming to be the "smallest, lightest" when they clearly aren't even close, well, how any other claims on there fall in to the same category?

RE: New Micro Seeker?
Just to be clear, I am NOT pushing this rx.
In fact, after reading some of the threads on both RCU and RC Groups about it, I too have decided to wait until others have more experience with it. My point was simply that it does seem to be a possible alternative to the not-yet-available micro Seeker. To each his own.

Just found this concerning the seller of the S&T rx. Does not inspire one to do business with this vendor.
