Default Help, Please with Model Selection in TIII

Hello All,

I've received my TIII last Thursday and have been happy with it, with only just acouple of small concerns(throttle ratchet and stick length) The guys at the field were amazed with the TIII. One complained that he had just bought an Optic 6 and another asked if the TIII was in stock and shipping immediately(I hope they are because I told him Yes.)

I know that this might seem to be a pretty elementary request, but I find that the manual is not really clear on Model Selection. I have three models named and programed in. Two are on ch#59, the other is on ch#28. I have been able to select each of them at the flying field, but that path to do so has not become clear to me. It's been very frustrating and time consuming everytime I attempted it.

Will someone please, in your own words, walk my through the steps to select a model?

Much thanks,

S

press down the mode A key and turn on tx to get into track one. The first screen is the the channel select/scanner screen. Press mode A button to scroll to the SEL MODEL screen. Use the CHAN inc or dec to select the plane you want. If you are not sure if it is the correct plane then press the mode A button to check and make sure it is the correct model name. Turn tx off and then on again and your set. There is no need to data save when selecting a model.
