Default Tracker 3 & AFPD

Has anyone with a tracker 3 Tx managed to get it to work with AFPD? How about any other sim software? I can not seem to get the software to "see" the transmitter no matter which settings I use. Trainer on or off, PPM - or +, it does not seem to matter. I know that the software and cables are working because it has no trouble "seeing" my old Stryker radio, a Parkzone 5-AP. The Tx adapter that came with the software package fits the trainer plug perfectly but perhaps a different adapter is required. I would think that a signal from a trainer output jack should be standard to be able to connect to another radio. I have also tested for continuity on the Tx adapter and it seems good. Is it possible to test the trainer jack to make sure that it is outputting a signal from the correct pin? If so how? Thanks in advance for any help any of you can provide. I will also post this into the Aerofly forum to see if anyone there has had any luck.

Did you try to hold down "mode down" when powering on the tx. I had the same problem with realflight until I figured this out.

Thanks, I just tried that but to no avail.  It seems to have no effect on the software.  If I power on with "mode A or up" pressed, it puts me into Track 1 programming mode.  Power on with " Mode B or Down" has no effect.
