RCAT Systems Announces New Electronic Switch
RCAT Systems announces a new compact electronic switch with fiberoptic coupling.
The RC-100FO is a versatile electronic switch capable of switching 5A at 30V. It's usage is great for applications where one requires long cable runs to a receiver. Typical applications: lights, electric retracts, engine kill switch, etc. Utilizing a fiberoptic link, the sending and receiving unit can be placed a fair distance apart and provide isolation via the fiberoptic cable. The basic unit comes with 2ft of fiberoptic cable. Extra lengths are available.
Installation is quick. Plug the transmitter into an open port of your receiver, connect the fiberoptic cable to the TX and RX units, install the switch wires into the ciruit to be switched, and connect a battery or power to the receive end. If using the switch to power your electronic ignition, it may be wired such that the ignition battery powers the unit.
Introductory pricing: $49.95
