If you don't already get RC Report, get the current issue!

All kinds of good stuff plus Ed Moorman (around here somewhere) wrote all about the 3D SPADS...Some good stuff in there. Might be enough to convince me to build one...

Besides this issue, RC Report is a great magazine. Nothing like the others (MAN and RCM)...They tell it like it is, no lies for advertising. All honest reviews. If you are looking for some good reading, RC Report can't be beat...

I'll second that . RC Reports is worth 10 times what is charged. Gordon Banks runs the magazine from a modeler and RC flyer's point of view, NOT a publisher businessman. He dares to tell the truth and compare products. He has assembled a team of first rate writer/flyers. If you haven't read this magazine, get a copy right away; it's a benefit to our hobby.

Yeah, I especially like the writers! You really can get to know them. Not someone different doing something different in ever issue like the other magz...Even if I don't know what they're talking about, it's entertaining. Lot's of good information though!

You guys see the RCU ad in RCR? All about the auction...It's actually a decent looking ad. It got my attention!

Tetherite, I just saw your ad in the current RCR...Just then I realized my gear should be here today. I opened the door and there it was! That was fast! I love the gear. Thanks!

John, Let me know when you want to get together and get some time on my Sledge...I've always wanted to do a head to head comparison. You're the perfect pilot for it. I've got mine all dialed-in and ready for the challenge...

I've been a subscriber for 10 years, also I was able to acquire all the back issues until almost the first ones (newspaper format). Worth every nickel. I only get RCR and the compulsory Model Aviation now.

I'll admit, this months isn't the best issue I've ready...The editorial this month is completely different than it usually is... Regardless, once you open it up you won't be able to stop!

Brian, I've got three short flights on my OMP Edge. It started raining friday morning, just my luck. I still need to get the expos set and I'll get ahold of you.

The best mag! I get 3 others and RCR is the best by far.(IMHO)When they do a review, they use the equipment that comes with the plane. So you get a review on it too. They tell it like it is.

Default RCR...

is still the best mag, but it is going down hill a bit.

I miss Festa and the Kitchen Table.....

Too much scale these days....and Frank Titano (sp) is so self serving it is not funny. Stu Richmond use to be the only reason I ever read RCM, but now his RCR column always so limited it is not funny. He took the Kitchen Table space and is no living up IMHO.

Pettit and Ed are still doing a great job. If they go, I will for the first time in many years, stop my subscription.

The new SPAD guy looks promising.

Well, it's OK. Seems to be better then other stuff.
To be honest, after reading this thread I expected a little more. I'll give the next issue another try, but I honestly don't think I will buy a permanent subscription.

Ulf, that was directed toward John, but...I was also wondering what you thought of the mag...

Like I said before, this month was sort of boring...Nothing that interesting. Don't let this month turn you away!

Yeah Ulf! It's the best RC publication going! And the writing staff is some of the best in the business!
My $0.02 worth.
I've dropped most of my subscriptions - except this one!
