Default OMP Edge control throws

Just wondering what should be the min travel I should get..Right now I have 3 1/2 " up and down on the ele and the same for the ailerons..do I need more or is this good..

I use full elev, full rudder, and about 75% ail. 50% expo on ail and elev. 30% on the rudder. But thats just me, you should set yours up for the kind of flying you do. 3 1/2 might be a hand full if you not ready for it, be careful. Hate to see you waste a new omp cause its to hot.

Thanks..I dont intend to maiden with full throws! I actually get almost 90 deg on the ailerons and about 75 deg on the elevator..rudder is just full..cant wait to try it maybe today..

The OMP taught me that you can have too much throw in the ailerons. With 90 degrees of throw in the ailerons the roll rate was blah. I pulled them down to 60 degrees and it's a drill. I was reading that really severe throws can also keep you from getting flat in flat spins. We will find out!
