Sorry to hear about your problems with the center ribs Gordo. At least it won't be too hard to fix.
Everybody else, heads up about that. See some of the pictures earlier in the thread.
Don't forget, you will probably have to "hog" out a little material to get the 1/4 stock spars to seat into place correctly.

Got some good progress done on the Graphics tonight. Eveything has been tacked down with Windex. I'll let this dry and add the red striping to the lettering tomorrow.
BTW: I know the lettering on the box is in silver. But on the can it is in White! And I liked the thought of having Red-White-Blue on the plane.

Thanks Guys. I appreciate the compliments.
Here is the top of the wing. I still need to add the red stripping to the lettering.

Wow Harry, looking great!!! That is really impressive. Can't help but think the beer co.s owe the Bros a few free cases!!!
I'm done with the build, about to start covering. Gonna do annother mexican food rest., not sure which one yet.
Here is a pic of 2 mods I did. It really didn't need it, but I'm always trying to build a better mouse trap. The counterbalance on the elevator is really for looks. It should go well with the rudder. If you look at the bottom of the motor mount, you'll see I fitted a larger piece of ply for crazy legs than Paul planned. It will fasten to the mount instead of mount-balsa-hardwood. I've had a bit of trouble with the Crazy legs hollowing out the holes in the fuse.

Very nice Gordon!
I chose not to make any changes and built per plan, It looked like a lot of thought had gone into the design of this bird.

Bearcat,
They are cut from Monocote and applied using Windex.
I used the Bud Light box as a pattern. I used freezer paper to draw the pattern and then laid the patterns over the Monocote and cut them out. I then sprayed some Windex on the wing and slid the patterns into place (you do need to remove the backing).
I got this technique from the Covering Master: Gator (Termagator here on RCU). It works like a charm.

RE: Weather Stink?, Favoritie Team getting Trashed?, Build a Burrito!!!!
Finally got back into town after being out all week.
I decided to get a break from covering and finish up some of the small details that need to be handled concerning the motor mount.
Here I am checking the landing gear plate fit. It sticks out too far. This should be a flush fit. It's a lot easier to fix this now than when it is attached to the wing!

Now it's time to fix those holes which were off center for the poly landing gear mounts. This was discussed earlier in the post, but without pictures. All that's being used is some thin CA, some 1/8 dowel, a razor saw, and a 1/8 drill. This takes longer to describe than do.

Here it is after the fix.
The dark areas next to the holes show where the original holes were located.

It's also a good time to cut the Carbon Fiber rod to length and to do the angle cut in the end.
I did a 45 degree angle cut, which really wound up a bit on the large side.

One other thing that needs to be done is to test fit the motor mount to the wing. This will take a little work to get right, but not that bad.

Just to show that I haven't been asleep lately........
Here's a picture of the completed motor mount, ready to install.
I went ahead and drilled all the holes for the motor and the fuel tank mounts. This seamed easier than trying to do it after the motor mount was installed in the wing.
I chose to mount the motor all the way forward. This is for two reasons:
The first is that I don't know where this bird is going to balance. I would much rather have to add tail weight than nose weight.
The second reason is for the fuel tank to have enough clearance with the motor. It's pretty cramped up there, so you had better be thinking about it now.
