I just purchased a sledge 540 kit from a club member, who I never would have thought would have 1. There are no directions in it. All that is in the kit as far as paperwork is a parts list and plans. Are there any directions that are supposed to come with kit? Club member says he never had any. This is my first kit so any help would be a great help.I may still be getting a hold of you Paul if this doesn't pan out for me.

I have a spare set of instructions, PM me your address and I'll send them to you. Get with JWilliams to get the counterbalanced tail mod sheet and you'll be set.

blueice, the kit should have came with the manual. I have replied to you pvt mess. We will get you an instruction manual, it is a very detailed manual with lots of construction photos and it is an easy build. By the way, where do you live in Illinois, that is my home state. Jeff Williams, sledge designer.

Chuck, I just wanted to thank you again. Jeff is sending me the tail mod only so I did need your manual. I typed my fingers to the bone trying to get Jeff to build me a Sledge, but I guess I am going to get sticky fingers.
JWilliams, if you read this, you better call me next time your in town and we will get a good burger at the bar(no beer for me, but I will buy you one)near the field. After we fly that is. I am sure I can scrape up something for ya to fly, so don't worry about bringing anything. It may be a little heavier then your used to though. I am looking forward to a few pointers buddy ol'e pal.
You guys are alllllllllllllllllright!!

Chuck, I recieved directions as promised. Thank you soooo much. Tomorrow I am buying a building board as per instructions. Hope it flies. If it does, I plan on building a OMP Edge also.
