In other words..we like to get together, fly in outrageous manners, and have blast without a bunch of belly aching from the onlookers.

I grew up on a ranch in Texas so I come by the hat honest. Then I lived in LA for 8 years and realized that whole place is going down in some violent way and left. But since moving to TN I feel like I really fit in now. I was just saying that last week at the tractor pull to my cousin Sissy that I had invited on date. Luckily she could respond but not see me since the sour mash we were drinkin was bad and she was currently unable to see.
Billy, you brought a tear to my eye, I laughed so hard.

It's a state of mind. The desire to push the limits of flight with a plane that doesn't cost as much as a car. Comraderie with like-minded enthusiasts of radical RC flight envelopes. The desire to fly airplanes that some scorn as ugly to levels of perfection unrivaled with other model aircraft.

In other words..we like to get together, fly in outrageous manners, and have blast without a bunch of belly aching from the onlookers.

Chuck Auger...............truly one of the most articulate Texas, redneck, Bud drinking, profile flying dudes I know. He's my hero too!!!

Well I hope you guys in Texas keep those noses above water. Just saw the news, what a mess. Anyone try putting floats on a profile plane?

In the Seaplanes forum here on RCU there's been pics of a Sudokhoi and also a Sig Ultimate on floats. Jim Casey has the pics. He said the performance didn't suffer that bad.

The people around Houston in some places got over 8" Bay City is about 80 miles Southwest we didn't get but about 2". The poor peoplein Houston have to much concret the water goes stright to their big drain ditches they back up then you have one big mess. Houston is nice place to visit but I would not like to live there. I think YNOT got stranded all day at the airport waiting on a flight out
do to delays from the rain. I bet he wishes he had a float plane.

Ulf and any other Bros from Houston I'm not Knockin your town just to big for my country ass.
