For kicks, I'm building a plane with landing gear on top and bottom. Flip it inverted and fly - Right side up is a Sptifire and and upside down a ME-109 - (all coroplast - so don't think this is too exciting.) Anyway, I have a Futaba 8 channel. Is there any way I can switch reversing the elevator and the rudder so when upside down, I can fly it like it is rightside up??? I know I need to challenge myself to actually land it upside down, but for kicks I'd love to grease one inverted and look like a champ when I am actually flying the plane normal -(unbeknownst to my buddies!) Thanks

Why just look like a champ, when with a little practice you can be a champ? I had an airplane with no landing gear on top that I used to land inverted every once in a while. It had a very tall canopy, and yes it was intentional. Tom

I'm a JR guy myself, but I'm sure with a couple of mix functions, you can assign a reverse fuunction to a switch. Mix elev to elev, and rud to rud, should be possible in a way to get the same but opposite deflections.

Thanks guys - both good ideas - the elevator/elevator etc. might work - I'll give it a try and then get tough and land with out the switches!

I've designed a simular aircraft. It has landing gear top and bottom with canopies and turtle deck top and bottom. Its called the Whazz-Up! (for obvious reasons).

Yes it's real easy to do with the futaba supe 8. Program it as a helicopter and for helos theres a invert function already programed in, aflip of the switch and the elevator and rudder flip!!
