I'm using a 12x4 right now and it sounds like it is really spinning at full throttle. Should I load it more? Suggestions?

I'm using 15%.
I'll try the 12.25x3.75.
The problem may just be my perception. I'm flying it on a 5lb. airplane, and because of the weight, I'm closer to full throttle to hover. I just may not be use to so much full throttle sound.

I've got lots of hours on my .50, and trying props is one of my things. I probably have used over a dozen props on the .50. I really like the 12x4. It does run up there pretty fast (especially with the Tower pipe) but the throttle transition is SOOOOOO great. I used the 12.25 x 3.75 for a while too, and it's definately a great prop, but the spin up is slower. My planes wern't quite that heavy, my knife was about 4# 12oz and the other one was 4 pounds even.
This engine will also run the 13x4w fine. Spin up is slow but it pulls like nothing!!! And the torque.......OOOOOOH the Torque!

I have a SPA3D which weigh roughly 4.5 pounds using a 46FX and a mousse can muffler. I used all sort different size props.
11x6 flew the aircraft too fast and hovered closer to full power. Can't remember exact RPM #s
12x4 flew the aircraft fast at a lower idle, hovered closer to 3/4 throttle position. Achieved 13,680 RPM
12.25x3.75 flew the aircraft slower with more thrust and hovered closer to 1/2 throttle. Achieved 13,470 RPM
Conclusion, 12.25x3.75 was clearly the best combination, for me atleast. Fun flys like to fly slower with losts of thrust instead of fast with less thrust. The Mousse can really will wake up your aircraft also. I have a Super Stick with a 46FX (mousse can muffler also). Spinning a 11x5 at 14,260 rpm. This bird is a blast with that sort of power up front. FASSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTTTT..........
