Default Old Global Bear Cat????

I am getting one of these togaether and have a few questions if any one remebers this plane. Where would be a good starting point for the C of G??? I am running a ST .45 and what would be a good prop. I am running a 11x6, 11x7, 10x8, 11x7 3/4. Compared to todays designs this is a REAL big 45 sized fun fly plane. It is almost as big as most 60 size profile fun fly planes I have seen. I may be getting a Magnum 52 that is on sale for $79.99 so it is a pretty good deal.

Thanks.

Dru.

I'm pretty sure I have the plans buried away in my closet if you don't have yours. That would tell where they put the cg.

That would be great if you could find them.

Thanks for the help.

You might consider putting on flying wires. The one that crashed on it's maiden flight at the field and the unbuilt kit I traded off, had weak light balsa for the horizontal stab. Once the back end folded, there wasn't much hope. The pilot had just pulled out of a shallow dive when the stab snapped and it continued straight in.
I've got both, the ST 45 and Mag. 52 with the ST having more power, but the 52 more steady torque. You won't gain more speed with the Magnum.
