You Gotta see this. Goto http://groups.msn.com/modelairplanecrash - I've had about 50-60 flights on my Pizzazz without incident. After winning the fun fly contest at our field, I decide to do a victory waterfall. The plane tucks inverted, does 1/2 a flat spin, and the WING FOLDS ON THE LEFT SIDE WHERE THE WING MEETS THE FUSELAGE. There was no prior damage to the airplane. EVERYTHING foward of the leading edge of the wing is gone!!! I guess that's what happens when you fall 200' into concrete nose first. Since the ship and engine were 4 months old, I hope that Horizon will do me right on this. I'll let you know tomorrow how things turn out.
Scott.
P.s. I did re-glue the cross struts and they were still intact after the crash!! (Flexi-Zap).

Hey Scott,
don't know if you have sent your plane in yet, but I have a suggestion.
I had a US 60 that ended up with a severely warped wing, got told the same story(ship in the wing before we do anything).
I then remebered that I had talked to a guy named "Dave" there before, about a carb change for a NIB MDS 1.48 engine I have.
Dave had treated me super, sent me a free(!!) carb to use, told me to keep the old carb and try it--not all of them were a problem.
So, I called Horizon again, asked to speak to Dave in Tech. Support.
Dave sent me out a new wing set for my US 60, AND issued a call tag for UPS for the old wings!!
All I had to do, was put my old wings in the box they sent my new wings in, put the return sticker on the box, and drop it off at UPS(could have even given it to a driver).
No muss, no fuss,(No shipping cost's!) and Dave took SUPER care of me!!
My advice--call Horizon, ask to speak to Dave!

Just an update. I spoke to Evan at Tech Support, and Horizon is willing to replace the Pizzazz for free, and they are going to sell me a new Saito 72 at a discounted rate. I asked if they had any rebuilt or reconditioned engines. He said they would check and let me know tomorrow. They are also going to check out my radio setup as well. I was hoping for them to replace the engine on the cuff, but he pointed out that some of the wing failures are caused by cutting too deep into the wing sheeting before you glue the wing in place.
