Default Exponential settings, Help needed

Hello everyone,
I just got a new Futaba 6EXA radio, which I just put in my Magic Extra.
I have a question about . This radio seems very complicated to me and I need some help.
I understand what exponential settings are, but I do not know how to set them up. I assume you make it softer at the beggining, but by what precent? The manual says it can go from -100 to +100. Where should I set them and do I set them on dual rates as well.

I will go fly tomorrow and would greatly appreciate any help.

Thank you!!!

With Futaba brand, negative expo is softer around the neutral / center, and positive expo will cause more surface movement with less stick movement around neutral / center. If you have the surface throws set by the book and want to soften up the sensitivity, try about 30% negative expo on both up and down (or right and left). That should be a good starting point. Remember that you'll still have the full throw available, but you'll have to move the stick farther to get the same sensitivity. I set negative expo in all most all of my planes. Hope this helps and I hope what I wrote made sense to you!
