Default mini 3d covering

I recently purchased a mini 3d for an O.S. 25 I had laying around.. I can not leave well enough alone so I removed the covering to add some support in some weak areas. I tried last night to cover the wing with some yellow monokote and I could not get it to lay properly on the wing tips. Plus the monokote is much heavier.. Any ideas or a different type of covering...
Thanks

Try to get some solarfilm. There is lighter stuff out there but I have not seen it yet. Remember the see through colours are always the lightest. And well the neon the heaviest. Or so they say.
